Everything you need to know about planning with Mostest.
Mostest is an event planning company for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. You can hire a Mostest planner for specific pieces of your event, book a coordinator to run the final stretch and the day itself, or plan on your own with AI Planning, Mostest’s free self-serve planning tool. All three draw on the same network of trusted venues and vendors.
Most people start with a free 30-minute consultation. Concierge Planning starts at $395, coordination starts at $1,650, and AI Planning is free (currently in beta in NYC). Mostest plans events across the US, and travel fees are covered during your consultation.
The difference is how much of the work Mostest does for you.
Concierge Planning:
À la carte help from a professional planner. Design My Event ($395) gives you an event concept and Event Playbook. Book My Vendors ($595) sources and books up to three vendors, plus $95 for each additional one.
Coordination:
For events that are mostly planned. A Mostest coordinator takes over 30 days out (from $1,650) or 60 days out (from $2,450) and runs the event day, including 10 hours of on-site coverage.
AI Planning:
Free, self-serve planning. Describe your event, get venue and vendor recommendations matched to your brief, and book in one place. Currently in beta in NYC.
Use any of them on their own or together.
It comes down to how much is already planned and how much you want to hand off.
- Choose Concierge Planning if you want a professional for specific pieces, like the event concept ($395) or finding and booking vendors ($595).
- Choose Coordination if your vendors are booked and you want a pro to run the final 30 or 60 days and the event itself (from $1,650).
- Choose AI Planning if you’d rather plan it yourself with free recommendations and booking in one place.
Still unsure? Book a free 30-minute consultation and Mostest will recommend the right fit for your event and budget.
Yes. Mostest’s services are designed to work together, and each one is priced separately, so you only pay for what you use. Common pairings:
- Plan with AI Planning, then add 30-day or 60-day Coordination as the date gets closer.
- Book Design My Event for the concept, then Book My Vendors to secure the team.
- Use Book My Vendors for the big bookings and AI Planning for everyday questions in between.
Not necessarily. AI Planning is built for hosts who are comfortable running their own plan. It turns your brief into a plan, recommends venues and vendors, and keeps your timeline in one place, free while it’s in beta in NYC. A Mostest planner adds human judgment, vendor negotiation and someone on-site. If your event grows more complex, you can add Book My Vendors ($595) or Coordination (from $1,650) at any point.
A day-of coordinator runs your event (on the day of your event!) so you can enjoy it, and with Mostest that support starts 30 days before the date. Mostest’s 30-day coordination (from $1,650) includes 2–3 planning meetings, a venue walkthrough, rehearsal coordination, a timeline and floor plan, communication with all your vendors, light décor setup and breakdown, and 10 hours of coverage on the day.
On the day, your coordinator manages vendors and handles problems as they come up. Want more lead time? 60-day coordination (from $2,450) adds more planning meetings. Full décor setup or breakdown is available separately for $375 each.
Mostest prices each service separately, so you pay only for what you use.
